The service

Shad is a fishing journal for iPhone and Android. You get a globe and map, a catch log, an aquarium, a social feed, and Shadline — bite windows that blend weather, moon, tides, and species patterns.

https://shad.fish is a preview plus account settings and these legal pages.

Your account

Keep your account truthful. Do not abuse the service, scrape private data, or attempt to recover other people's exact fishing spots.

You must be 13 or older to create an account.

Your content

You own the catches and photos you log. You give Shad a license to store them and show them back to you. Public posts appear in the social feed without coordinates. Public or follower-only catches may appear on the map as approximate pins (roughly 2 km), never your exact dock.

Do not upload content you do not have the right to share. See Community Standards in the app Settings.

Maps, weather, and Shadline

Maps, weather, regulations, and Shadline scores can be wrong or incomplete. They are not advice to enter water, trespass, or ignore local law.

Shad+

Free accounts include one tank and ten fish per tank. Shad+ includes up to 20 tanks and 30 fish per tank, plus Shadline intel and 3D map. Shad+ is available as a $7.99/month subscription (with a 2-week free trial), a $79.99/year subscription, or a $99.99 lifetime purchase through the App Store or Google Play. Localized pricing may vary.

Subscriptions renew until you cancel in your App Store or Google Play account settings.

Privacy of spots

Exact coordinates stay on your account. Other users see approximate map pins when you choose public or followers-only sharing — not your precise location.

Disclaimers

The service is provided as-is. We are not liable for lost catches, bad weather calls, or decisions you make on the water.
